Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus in early 2020, Northern Lights Home Health Care has worked closely with the NYS Department of Health and local County officials to implement and maintain an effective COVID preparedness plan. Keeping our clients and employees safe is our highest priority. Our staff have been trained in COVID prevention tactics and have received all the necessary education to reduce the transmission and risk of exposure related to COVID-19. Every staff member has passed hands-on training and education related to infection prevention in the home setting.
Ongoing COVID measures:
Our staff is observed quarterly in the community by direct supervisors to ensure compliance with all DOH COVID standards and continue hands-on competency testing of all COVID-related procedures.
