Northern Lights Home Health Care honored again with CAHPS Award of Distinction
CANTON – For the third consecutive year Northern Lights Home Health Care has been honored with a Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Award of Distinction (CAHPS).
The Award of Distinction comes after once again being a National Best Practice Agency by WellSky. In a letter announcing both honors, CAHPS Project Manager Jennifer Ittner wrote, “Agencies named as National Best Practice Agencies are proven leaders and have excelled in one of the most important measures of an agency’s quality program – patient experience. This is a significant accomplishment that you, your employees, and board should be incredibly proud of.”
Northern Lights Vice President of Operations Katherine Race said she was excited to see Northern Lights once again recognized.
“To receive this honor once would be great, but to be recognized for three consecutive years, speaks volumes about our staff and the level of care they provide,” she said.
Ms. Ittner said organizations receiving these honors are ranked in the top 25% of WellSky’s National Home Health Care data base. Awards presented in 2022 are based on service provided during the 2021 calendar year.
