Home Health Aides
Our Home Health Aide services allow a patient to rest and recuperate at home where one is most comfortable. All of our Aides are trained to provide assistance with personal care. They work closely with their supervising nurse and keep that nurse apprised of any changes in a patient’s condition.
Personal Care Aides
Personal Care Aides (PCA) are provided to eligible beneficiaries to help individuals stay in their own homes and communities rather than in an institutional setting, like a nursing home. A personal care aide provides various services for a person who is unable to care for themselves on their own. These services may include cooking, dressing, bathing, errands/shopping, and performing simple housekeeping tasks.
We hire our Aides with compassion and empathy in mind. All Northern Lights Home Health Aides are registered with New York State, undergo rigorous background checks, receive additional training and are required to attend ongoing in-service education throughout the year.
